A helpful young adult (and up) book about basic questions of the Christian faith and the reality in which we find ourselves, written by one who experienced physically debilitating problems for almost a decade.

The chapter on divine sovereignty and human responsibility is brilliant and something I've returned to on more than one occasion.

But this is not a detached theological treatise on intellectual doubt. It's warm and pastorally apposite, as befits someone who has had to battle these issue for himself. It was written to help fellow strugglers persevere in the Christian faith and trust God when the questions fly round in our heads.

But I've also found it helpful in giving to thoughtful unbelieving friends who want to engage with a cogent presentation of the Christian faith."
