A Sovereign God commands us to evangelize
Description
"If God is in control of everything, can Christians sit back and not bother to evangelize? Or does active evangelism imply that God is not really sovereign at all? ... (Packer) shows how both of these attitudes are false. ... (and) how a right understanding of God's sovereignty is ... an incentive and powerful support for it... truly a classic that should be read by every Christian."

Lundberg, Karen
This is a life-changing read! Every page compels the reader to keep going! I am still pondering his main point: This is an "antimony". You have to read the book to find out how it all comes out at the end! Little did I know how far I had slipped out of a readiness to share the ONLY message that is able to change people's hearts! I'm afraid that when we stepped into what I thought was "sound Reformed theology" that I gave up giving time/energy to sharing Christ for fear of doing it poorly. I highly recommend Packer's fine book. It makes me think we should pass it out to every professing Reformed Christian, to avoid the errors I've made. Its a quick read, but so vital to both our own lives, as well as those around us who have never had the gospel explained. May the Lord bless you in your search for how to believe, and live like it!
